The Lakefield Fair is right around the corner and the community is gearing up for the festivities!
The fair is held annually in celebration of the rich agricultural history in Lakefield. The 164th annual event is this weekend Friday, July 26th-July 28th.
Festivities include a midway, truck and tractor pull, demolition derby, mud bogs, farm animals, kid’s activities, and much more!
Held at the Lakefield Fairgrounds, this event is completely run by volunteers from the Lakefield Agricultural Society. Though our community is small, the Lakefield Fair always promises to bring everyone together. It is always one of the biggest events of the summer.
With something for everyone to enjoy this family friendly event is truly about community and summer spirit!
This year there will be a few new features at the fair including: a beer tent, Little Ray’s Reptile Show, more rides, old “hit & miss” engine demonstration, woodcarving demonstrations, entertainment by the John Anderson and Mr Jr., and so much more!
