The Kawartha Chamber of Commerce and Tourism has launched a website to support businesses in Peterborough County looking to sell gift cards online. Officially launched on April 8, the website kawarthachamber.ca/shop was built by local agency acorn30 in partnership with the Kawartha Chamber as a way for the community to support local business during these times.

$35,000 Digital Main Street Grant to help main street businesses use digital tools more effectively.
January 14, 2020: Lakefield, Ontario. The Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism announced today that it has received a $35,000 grant from Digital Main Street (DMS) to fund a Digital Service Squad to help main street small businesses improve their online capabilities. The grant will cover businesses across the Kawarthas in Trent Lakes, North Kawartha, Curve Lake First Nation, Douro-Dummer, Selwyn and Asphodel-Norwood.
