#KudosKawarthaBiz

The Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism traditionally recognizes local business leaders with  our Awards of Excellence in October. This year we have decided that ALL local businesses are deserving of recognition for their perseverance and triumphs in 2020. It has been a stressful time and there will be more challenges ahead.

The Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism has been recognizing the perseverance and triumphs of our local businesses this year throughout the month of October (small business month).  We have been highlighting local businesses that provide meaningful employment, sponsor community events and sports teams, and are our friends and neighbours. Join with us in showing your gratitude for all that they do to make our communities strong and vibrant. Add your note, photo or video of thanks in the comments seen on our Facebook page or create your own #KudosKawarthaBiz post. Let businesses know you are thinking of them and appreciate what they have done, and will do, for our communities. #KudosKawarthaBiz

Tracy Logan, Board President of the Kawartha Chamber, “As business owners, we are typically determined, brave, and adaptable individuals. That being said, 2020 has pushed us to the edge of these characteristics and beyond, and we all deserve a pat on the back for the struggles we have and are continuing to confront every day. Let’s continue to encourage positivity, support, and hope with each other and throughout our business community. We are in this together!”
