Chamber staff are working remotely while continuing to serve you in this challenging time. Our main purpose is to provide accurate information to our members and the public, with a particular emphasis on local details. If there is anything you wish to share regarding useful services or resources that your business or organization can provide, please send them along to info@kawarthachamber.ca
Likewise, if you wish to share the challenges you are having and the support you are needing, we can communicate this to all levels of government via the Chamber network. Please send these thoughts to generalmanager@kawarthachamber.ca or membership@kawarthachamber.ca

We know that this is a stressful time for many in our communities. You are encouraged to remain calm, be wise about your interaction with others and practice good hand hygiene. If you have symptoms that you think might be COVID-19, please don’t overwhelm our health system. Emergency rooms should not be used as a first response. Self-isolate and consult the recommendations from Peterborough Public Health at www.peterboroughpublichealth.ca or contact Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000. It is important to note that more than 80% of those who contract COVID-19 will have very few or mild symptoms.

With the situation changing at a rapid pace, information sharing may happen more regularly. We encourage you to also follow our social channels for more immediate updates. This webpage will be dedicated to this topic so check back often for updates!
