Every year for over a decade on the second Saturday of August, the main street in Lakefield (Queen Street) is transformed into a giant sidewalk sale.
Vendors come from all over our little village in a grand display of what Lakefield has to offer. Store fronts of all shapes, sizes, and variety bring their business to the street. Allowing customers the chance to see what they offer from anything such as salon services, insurance, home decor, plants, clothing, and so much more!
This year the sale will take place on August 10th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The road will be blocked off to traffic between Reid and Albert Street from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. for vendor set up and take down.
Every year the Lakefield Sidewalk Sale is a huge community event. It brings all the local business owners together to celebrate their hard work, dedication and support of one another. It also attracts the community, local cottagers, and tourist to our village allowing them to see how much Lakefield has to offer.
Check out our events page for a list of vendors participating this year.
We here at the Chamber are very excited for what is sure to be yet another great year for the sidewalk sale.
